F.A. (Fryderyk) Zoll (Jagiellonian University)

Fryderyk Zoll

Fryderyk Zoll is a Professor at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, and a Professor at the Leon Kozminski Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management (LKAEM) in Warsaw, Poland. He currently serves as Director of the Co-ordination Unit of the Foreign Law Program at the Jagiellonian University and is a member of the Chair of the Civil Law at the Jagiellonian University. He has participated in and managed many research grants on developing EU law. From 2005 to 2008, Professor Zoll was a member of the Research Group on the Existing EC Private Law, or "Acquis Group," working on Acquis Principles on the Contract Law in Europe and on the Consumer Law Compendium. In 2008, he served as Chairman of the Commission of the Ministry of Justice for Preparation, a teaching program of the School for Judges in Poland. Zoll was a visiting Professor at Wilhelm University Muenster, Germany, in 2009. He received a Master of Law in 1992 and a Doctor of Law in 1997 from Jagiellonian University. In 2002, Professor Zoll received a habilitation degree from the faculty council of the Jagiellonian University with a specialization in civil law by the State Qualification Committee.
